Mark is first and foremost a freelance travel writer, writing principally about business travel, skiing and family travel for The Times newspaper and website as well as business travel publications such as Buying Business Travel, On Business and Connect.He is also co-founder and editor of Public Sector Travel, the publication for professionals involved in the procurement and management of travel, meetings and fleet in government, the NHS, universities and other public bodies. He has won several awards for his business travel writing, including best news writer and best features writer as well as an outstanding achievement award for the launch of Public Sector Travel.

Mark also writes frequently about business, education, science and technology for a range of publications, both in print and online.
